Structural variation of protein conformation  in three different  physical states by Raman spectroscopy. Structure, function and sequence significance of disordered domain in human human proteins, molecular docking, Particular focus is on how small molecules interact with protein disorder to resist their aggregation. Focused proteins and peptides  are amyloid beta, lysozyme and insulin.

Diversifying role of proteins is always a matter of enigma. These proteins are expressed within cells at a precise level. If there is alternation, then there is trouble. This anomaly is common in the case of Parkinson’s disease. Here the wrongdoer is Alpha-synuclein. I am devoted to demystifying the complex behavior of Alpha-synuclein in several solution conditions by using various spectroscopic methods. Structure of amyloid species by Raman and NMR in different state of aggregation is the main focal theme of my project. Besides, these I am interested to check the toxic level of this protein oligomerstowards neuronal cells.
